You will need: Scraps of your choice of color felt--About 2 feet of 1/8" ribbon for hangers and bows--piece of heavy thread or 22 gage gold craft wire--small scrap of white faux fur--tiny buttons or beads--small amount of stuffing -Clear craft paint with or without glitter-fine, white or iridescent glitter-Glue gun and glue stick.

1.        Ribbon hanger--Using the two 12" pieces of ribbon, glue one end of each inside the back piece at the top as shown for each (fig A)
2.        Line up the front mitten pieces onto the finished backs and glue around the outside edges of each, making sure the short glued ribbon ends are hidden on the inside, leaving the top open for stuffing. Lightly stuff, and close off the opening.
3.        Starting at the back of the stuffed mittens, tack down the strip of fur at the top making sure to cover the top edge of the felt (fig E). Add matching bows at the base of the ties. Glue or sew on any buttons, beads or other decorations.
4.        Tie the ribbons together (fig C), then tie the loose ends in a bow (fig C).
5.        Lightly paint with clear craft paint, sprinkle with white or iridescent fine glitter.
