All of my bib aprons have double fabric bibs, top stitched straps, long 34" ties to make a nice bow, extra large pockets, straps that criss-cross in the back, thread through a loop at the ends of the waistband then tie. This makes for a more "automatic & adjustable" comfortable fit. Please note the waistband and strap measurements...choose the size that is right for you.

- Open (showing) seams are sewn with a double overcast stitch for strength and to stop fraying

Strap length: With a cloth measuring tape, start at the front waist, go over the shoulder to the back waist. This is your strap length.
Waistbands: Generally, Ruffled bib and Half apron waistbands should not come together at the back. Each should have from a 3" to 8" gap (skirt opening) at the back of the waistband for a good fit. For example, if your waist measures 30" you can use a 25" waistband (a 30" waistband might be too big). Of course if you prefer it to reach further around, just purchase the size closest to your waist measurement.
Victorian style apron waistbands are meant to meet at the back with little or no opening or gap, but you can still have a good fit if there is a 'gap' at the back. It is simply a "style" thing, it depends on your preference.

Retro 1940's-50's Ruffled Bib Apron~ Made with 100% cotton pink with pink roses and tiny black vines, three separate skirt panels that are overlapped, each is edged in ruffle, the bib is also edged in ruffle. The straps/ties are sewn together to form one long piece and are hemmed on all edges.
